On 22 July 2026, in implementation of the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and with the aim of ensuring the implementation of the plan for improvement and construction activities dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as intensifying development and beautification efforts, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, paid a working visit to Panj District of Khatlon Region.
During the visit, the Minister held a meeting with the leadership of the Executive Body of State Authority of Panj District. In the course of the meeting, relevant instructions were given to the responsible officials to ensure the high-level organization of events marking the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, intensify improvement and development activities, promote industrial development, ensure the efficient use of land resources, prepare for the autumn-winter season, and strengthen the patriotic and national identity education of young people.
In addition, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, modern medical equipment was presented to the Central District Hospital of Panj District with the aim of improving the quality of healthcare services.
