On the sidelines of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2026) in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation, a meeting was held between Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the progress in implementing the instructions and directives issued by the leaders of the two countries within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan.
The parties also discussed prospects for further cooperation in the export of fresh fruits, dried fruits, and vegetables, including the export of grapes from the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation.
It was emphasized that the implementation of the planned initiatives will contribute to ensuring the stability of supplies, improving product quality, and expanding the range of export products of the Republic of Tajikistan.
