A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan between Rukhshona Khikmatullozoda Nasriddin, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Mr. Peter Georgiev, Director of KfW Development Bank for Central Asia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects in the fields of education, water supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), as well as prospects for further expanding cooperation among the Republic of Tajikistan, the Federal Republic of Germany, the European Union, and KfW Development Bank.
Particular attention was given to the implementation of the project “Supporting the Development of Primary Education and Expanding Access to Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Infrastructure in Rural Areas,” ensuring the efficient use of financial resources and achieving the project’s intended objectives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening their partnership and continuing constructive cooperation aimed at promoting the sustainable socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan.
