On 14 April 2026, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, took part and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the International Forum “Partnership for Sustainable Development: Green. Digital. Smart”.
Abdurahmonzoda A. S. noted that the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, pays special attention to the development of the green economy, digitalization, and the introduction of intelligent technologies across sectors. In this regard, it was emphasized that, under modern conditions, ensuring the sustainable development of the national economy is closely linked to the transition to a green economy, the wide-scale introduction of digital technologies, the development of innovation, as well as the efficient utilization of the tourism sector’s potential.
It was also noted that the Republic of Tajikistan is on the threshold of a new stage of development, where the digital and green economy serve not only as priority directions but also as key factors in ensuring the country’s competitiveness. Furthermore, it was emphasized that through the expansion of constructive cooperation and the effective use of existing and new opportunities, sustainable development and further prosperity of the country will be ensured.
