On March 12, 2026, in accordance with the requirements of the Order of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated August 29, 2025, No. 72-f, a presentation of the forecast indicators for the socio-economic development of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, the cities of Dushanbe, Tursunzoda, Hisor, and Rudaki District for 2027, as well as the main parameters for 2028–2029, was held at the ministry under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Vosidiyon Farhod Sadullo.
Vosidiyon F. S. noted that the purpose of the meeting was to ensure the proper implementation of the provisions of the Order of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated August 29, 2025, No. 72-f, as well as the instructions and directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity-Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, aimed at identifying new sources of development, improving the level and quality of life of the population, ensuring food security, making efficient use of existing opportunities and resources, commissioning new capacities, activating existing production capacities, and overall ensuring national economic growth in 2026 at a level of not less than 8 percent.
During the meeting, the forecast indicators of the main directions of socio-economic development for 2027 and the main parameters for 2028–2029 were presented by the First Deputy Chairman of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region-Safarzoda Sh., the Deputy Chairman of the city of Dushanbe-Salomzoda R., the First Deputy Chairman of the city of Tursunzoda-Azimzoda A., the Deputy Chairman of the city of Hisor-Nuralizoda Kh., as well as the Deputy Chairman of Rudaki District-Kosimzoda S.
Following the review of the presented indicators of the region, cities, and district, relevant decisions were adopted in order to achieve the country’s strategic goals.
