On February 27, 2026, an event was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade with the participation of the leadership, heads of structural divisions, representatives of the Committee on Religious Affairs and the Regulation of Celebrations and Rituals under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and employees of the Ministry's central office. The event was aimed at implementing the policy pursued by the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, on religious issues, the regulation of celebrations and rituals, and responsibility for the education and upbringing of children in the country.
The meeting was opened by Deputy Minister Vosidiyon Farhod Sadullo, who in his opening remarks noted that in the modern world, processes such as the clash of cultures and civilizations, religious and confessional differences and conflicts, as well as the unprecedented spread of terrorism and religious extremism, which are used by various interested parties for their own purposes, continue.
Then, representatives of the Committee on Religious Affairs and Regulation of Celebrations and Rituals under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held an explanatory talk and informational and outreach work on the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Regulation of Celebrations and Rituals in the Republic of Tajikistan", the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated April 4, 2018 No. 1042 "On the Concept of State Policy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Sphere of Religion", as well as the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Responsibility for the Education and Upbringing of a Child" and the main provisions of the speech of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, at a meeting with activists, representatives of society and religious figures on March 9, 2024.
