On February 21, 2026, with the participation of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, and staff of the ministry and its subordinate agencies, a tree planting campaign was organized and conducted in the rural jamoat of Sultonobod, Rudaki District.
This event was carried out as a continuation of the constructive initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity-Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon aimed at the greening and improving our beloved country. It also commemorated the declaration of 2026 as the “Year of Expanding Improvement and Creative Works, and Strengthening National Self-Awareness and Identity.” And more than 1,300 coniferous trees were planted during the event.
The leadership and staff of the Ministry decided to continue, in accordance with the instructions and directives of the Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, to make a worthy contribution to the timely and high-quality implementation of the “Green Economy Development Strategy for 2023–2037” and the “State Program for Greening the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period until 2040.”
