On August 6, 2025, at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, in the framework of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated September 15, 2011 No. AP-1729 "On the plan for organizing and holding press conferences in ministries and departments, organizations and institutions, executive authorities of GBAO, regions, the city of Dushanbe and cities and districts of republican subordination", a press conference was held on the results of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the activities of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade for the first half of 2025.
The press conference was chaired by the leadership of the ministry with the broad participation of representatives of domestic and foreign media (more than 50 representatives).
At the beginning of the conference, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin presented a detailed report in the presentation format on the results of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the activities of the ministry for the first half of 2025. A press release in Tajik and Russian was also provided to media representatives.
During the press conference, the leadership of the ministry answered questions from media journalists on various issues of the country's socio-economic situation, including economic development, the activities of free economic zones, the implementation of strategies and programs, the development of artificial intelligence, digital and green economy, foreign economic cooperation and other topics.
