On July 18, 2025, at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, under the leadership of First Deputy Minister A.A. Solehzoda, a working meeting was held together with the leadership of ministries and agencies to discuss the effective and timely implementation of the instructions and directives of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the esteemed Emomali Rahmon, to the Majlisi Oli titled “On the Priority Directions of the Internal and Foreign Policy of the Republic” dated December 28, 2024.
A.A. Solehzoda emphasized that the timely execution of the Leader of the Nation’s directives laid the foundation for ensuring macroeconomic stability in the country during the first half of the current year. In order to maintain macroeconomic stability through the end of the year, ensure efficient use of available resources, create new jobs, attract investment, and improve resource utilization efficiency, relevant measures have been defined. It was also recognized as necessary for ministries and agencies to submit their sectoral analytical materials to the Secretariat of the Working Group, taking into account current trends. In light of the need to identify additional sources of growth for the national economy, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan adopted the following strategic documents:
With the need to identify additional sources of growth for the national economy, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan adopted the following documents: the Resolution "On the Forecast of Key Macroeconomic Indicators of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026–2028," The National Development Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026–2030, The State Investment Program for 2026–2030, The Action Plan (for 2026–2028) for the implementation of the Green Economy Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023–2037, The State Export Development Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026–2030, as well as a number of other important strategic documents of the country.
These documents contain specific measures aligned with the goals and priorities outlined by the President of the country, the Leader of the Nation, the esteemed Emomali Rahmon, and the Government of the Republic. During the meeting, participants exchanged views on the priorities and trends of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan for the upcoming period. They also provided updates on the progress of implementing the instructions from the President's Address to the Majlisi Oli and the development prospects of various sectors in the country.
In conclusion, ministries and agencies were instructed to submit to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade concrete and well-founded sectoral proposals and recommendations to ensure the further socio-economic development of the country and the achievement of its strategic goals.
