On October 31, 2024, in Astana, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, Lieutenant General of Justice Sultanzoda Sulaimon Said, as part of an official visit to participate in the first annual conference of members of the regional platform for accelerated implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption in Central Asia, met with the head of the independent anti-corruption commission of the special administrative region Hong Kong of the People's Republic of China. During the meeting, the state and prospects of cooperation relations between the two authorities were discussed, the parties agreed to further strengthen interdepartmental ties in the direction of combating corruption. It was noted that the agreements reached during the bilateral negotiations create a favorable basis for further strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between the two bodies fighting corruption.
