In accordance with the Action Plan of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, and with the aim of improving the legal literacy of civil servants and banking sector specialists, a substantive meeting was held in the conference hall of the branch of the National Bank of Tajikistan in the city of Khorog.
The event was attended by representatives of the regional bodies of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the head and staff of the National Bank branch in Khorog. During the meeting, detailed information was provided on the key provisions of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Combating Corruption”, the State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030 and the Action Plan for its implementation for the first stage (2021–2025), as well as on a number of regulatory legal acts, including the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan. Specific recommendations and explanations were given to responsible persons to prevent corruption in the banking sector.
At the conclusion, participants expressed their opinions on challenges in their work and received comprehensive answers to their questions.
