A thematic session titled “E-Government and Digital Public Services” was held as part of the TAJ-TECH 2026 International Technology Forum. It focused on improving public administration and expanding access to digital services for citizens and businesses.
Discussions centred on the development of public service portals, the integration of information systems, electronic data exchange between government agencies, electronic identification, and personal data protection.
Particular attention was paid to simplifying administrative procedures, reducing paperwork, and enabling applicants to track the status of their applications. These capabilities are essential for saving citizens and businesses time and money, reducing the need to submit the same documents repeatedly, and increasing transparency in service delivery.
The discussion encouraged the exchange of expertise and closer cooperation between government agencies and technology companies. The main goal of this cooperation is to deliver public services in a simple, accessible, and reliable manner that reflects the actual needs of citizens and businesses.
