On November 19, 2024, a meeting was held between the Director of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the Agency's management noted that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan pays special attention to the development of innovations and digital technologies.
Taking it in account, strengthening cooperation focuses on utilizing expertise in relevant fields, including training programmers through training courses, involving Korean companies in project implementation, sharing experience in developing strategic documents on digital and innovation transformation, and strengthening cooperation in IT development in Tajikistan.
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Tajikistan considered important the cooperation in the sphere of realization of joint projects with the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies.
The participation of the Korea International Cooperation Agency “KOICA” in this process was considered acceptable, and the implementation of projects through this organization was positively assessed.
In conclusion, the parties expressed interest in further development of the agreements reached and implementation of practical measures.
