Seoul, Republic of Korea – 10.11.2025
To further strengthen the digital future of Tajikistan, Khurshed Mirzo, Director of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, held a bilateral meeting with Hong Seok-hwa, Vice President of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
At the center of the discussion was one of the most ambitious and transformative initiatives in Tajikistan’s digital landscape – the construction of the IT Hub Dushanbe complex.
Envisioned as a landmark project in the heart of the capital, IT Hub Dushanbe will serve as a driving force for the nation’s innovation ecosystem, providing state-of-the-art infrastructure and an enabling environment for technology companies, startups, and entrepreneurs. The project aims to nurture a thriving digital economy, empower youth-led innovation, and accelerate sustainable digital development across Tajikistan.
Agency has partnered with KOICA to support its implementation. The project reflects the shared commitment of both sides to strengthen technological cooperation and foster inclusive growth through innovation.
This marks a critical first step in turning the vision of IT Hub Dushanbe into reality. Speaking at the meeting, Director Khurshed Mirzo emphasized that:
“The creation of IT Hub Dushanbe will become a cornerstone of Tajikistan’s innovation ecosystem – a place where global and local talents converge, where ideas evolve into enterprises, and where digital progress meets opportunity.”
The upcoming IT Hub Dushanbe stands not only as an infrastructural development but as a symbol of Tajikistan’s entry into a new era of digital transformation, promoting start-up culture, entrepreneurship development, and sustainable economic modernization.
