On October 14, 2025, the Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khurshed Mirzo, met with the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), Ms. Tatiana Molcean.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of cooperation in innovation, digital economy, digitalization of public services, and the application of “green” technologies for sustainable development.
Ms. Tatiana Molcean expressed satisfaction with Tajikistan’s achievements in building digital infrastructure and enhancing the country’s innovation capacity, reaffirming UNECE’s readiness to strengthen cooperation within regional and global programs.
The Director of the Agency emphasized Tajikistan’s readiness to work with UNECE on the implementation of joint projects, experience sharing, and the development of innovation policy.
