On October 9, 2025, as part of the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to the Republic of Tajikistan, a bilateral meeting took place at the IT Park Dushanbe between the Director of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khurshed Mirzo, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Chief of Staff of the Government of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Grigorenko.
The parties familiarized themselves with the available opportunities, modern infrastructure, and achievements of IT Park residents, and discussed issues related to the digitalization of economic sectors, the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the field of information technology, the development of the innovation ecosystem, and the support of startups.
It was emphasized that the development of Tajikistan’s digital economy and effective cooperation with the Russian Federation could contribute to the implementation of joint scientific and technical projects, the introduction of advanced digital practices, and the strengthening of human capacity in this area.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand cooperation and implement joint initiatives in the field of innovation and digital technologies.
