On May 27, the Director of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan met with representatives of leading companies in the field of artificial intelligence - “Presight AI” from the United Arab Emirates and “Scale AI” from the United States of America in the IT Park building of Dushanbe.
It should be noted that Presight AI, founded in 2020 in Abu Dhabi, is a subsidiary of the technology holding G42, with a capital of 3.7 billion USD. The company’s main product is the TAQ platform, which includes over 100 artificial intelligence models and is widely used for comprehensive analysis and informed decision-making across various sectors — from public services and finance to sports, utilities, climate science, and education.
As for Scale AI, founded in 2016 in San Francisco, California, has $25 billion in capital. It specializes in analyzing and annotating data to train artificial intelligence models and works with major international entities including Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of cooperation within the framework of implementing the National Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in the Republic of Tajikistan. Topics included training specialists in the AI industry, developing research projects, localizing AI technologies in the country, and potential collaboration with the mentioned companies, including the establishment of GPU clusters and a National Cloud Data Center.
Following the discussions, the guests toured the IT Park infrastructure in Dushanbe and praised the facilities highly.
In conclusion, both sides expressed their readiness to expand cooperation and to consistently implement the agreements reached.
