On 11 June 2026, the regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at the State Institution “Institute of Biological Safety and Biotechnology Problems” of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, key issues related to the Institute's scientific, organizational, and administrative activities were discussed. Heads of the relevant structural divisions presented reports and updates on their areas of responsibility.
The Head of the Laboratory for the Diagnosis of Viral Diseases of Poultry, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences A.A. Tohirzoda, presented a report on the laboratory's research activities, highlighting its achievements, current challenges, and future work plans.
The Head of the Department of Information, Consultation and Implementation of Scientific Achievements, Sh. Idieva, presented a report on the department's activities, with particular attention given to the dissemination of scientific achievements and the development of information cooperation.
The Chair of the Planning Commission on Biological Safety, Deputy Director for Biological Safety and Innovation, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences K.B. Mahmudov, delivered a report on the Commission's activities.
The Head of the Department of Science, Education and Scientific Personnel Training, A. Nazirov, also presented a report focusing on strengthening the Institute's scientific capacity and the training of young researchers.
In addition, the Deputy Chair of the Commission on the Regulation of Traditions, Celebrations and Ceremonies and Chair of the Trade Union Committee, D. Rahimova, reported on the Commission's activities. The participants discussed compliance with the national legislation governing traditions, celebrations, and ceremonial events.
At the conclusion of the meeting, various additional issues were considered, and appropriate decisions were adopted to improve the performance of the Institute's structural divisions and ensure the effective implementation of future tasks.
