On September 28, 2026, an international conference entitled “Global Integration of Innovative Technologies in Agrotechnology and Livestock Farming for Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security” was held in the city of Andijan, Republic of Uzbekistan.
The international event brought together scientists, researchers and agricultural specialists from six foreign countries, including the Republic of Tajikistan. The conference focused on pressing issues of sustainable agricultural development, the implementation of innovative technologies, prevention of infectious diseases in animals and poultry, increasing the efficiency of agricultural production, and ensuring food security.
Representatives of the State Institution “Institute of Biological Safety and Biotechnology Problems” of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan actively participated in the conference.
Among them were Shahlo Makhmudovna Idieva, Head of the Department of Information, Consultation, Scientific Achievements and International Relations and Senior Researcher at the Laboratory for the Diagnosis of Viral Diseases of Poultry;
and Shodigul Rahimova, Head of the Laboratory for the Prevention of Foot-and-Mouth Disease and Cattle Leukosis.
Doctor of Veterinary Sciences Sh.R. Mirzoakhmedov also participated in the international conference online via Zoom and delivered a presentation.
At the beginning of his presentation, Professor Mirzoakhmedov congratulated all participants on the organization of this important scientific event and wished the conference productive work, success and new scientific achievements.
His presentation focused on topical issues in veterinary medicine and agriculture, as well as the development of science, the application of modern technologies, sustainable agricultural development and food security, which were directly related to the main theme and objectives of the conference.
The participation of Tajik scientists in such international scientific events provides an important opportunity to present the scientific achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan, exchange experience with scientists from different countries and strengthen international scientific cooperation.
During the continuation of the international conference, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences Murodjon Bozorov delivered a scientific presentation entitled:
“Experimental and Clinical Evaluation of the Immunogenicity of Commercial Vaccines Against Lumpy Skin Disease in Cattle Using Serological and Molecular Diagnostic Methods.”
The presentation addressed the experimental and clinical evaluation of the immunogenicity of commercial vaccines against lumpy skin disease in cattle. Particular attention was given to the use of serological and molecular diagnostic methods to determine the level of immune protection and monitor vaccine effectiveness.
This topic represents an important area of modern veterinary medicine. The study and application of accurate diagnostic methods are of significant importance for the prevention and control of infectious diseases in cattle.
Murodjon Bozorov’s scientific presentation was directly related to the overall theme of the conference, including the development of innovative technologies, animal health protection, sustainable livestock development and food security.
In the second part of the conference, which continued with laboratory research and specialized scientific sessions, Shahlo Makhmudovna Idieva delivered a scientific presentation entitled:
“Improving Specific Prevention and Analysis of the Epizootic Situation Regarding Poultry Salmonellosis in Tajikistan.”
The presentation analyzed important issues related to the epizootic situation regarding poultry salmonellosis in the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as ways to improve specific prevention, diagnosis and control measures against the disease.
The participation of the Institute’s representatives in such prestigious international scientific events is important for presenting the results of research conducted by Tajik scientists, exchanging scientific experience, introducing modern methods for the prevention and diagnosis of infectious diseases, and strengthening scientific cooperation between Tajikistan and foreign countries.
Such scientific cooperation creates favorable conditions for the further development of biological safety, veterinary medicine, livestock farming and food security, while contributing to the strengthening of scientific ties and the implementation of modern scientific achievements.
At the conclusion of the conference, certificates of participation were presented to the staff members of the Institute of Biological Safety and Biotechnology Problems of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan in recognition of their active participation and valuable contribution to the conference.
