As part of the celebrations of Youth Day of Tajikistan, World Football Day, and the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, a Youth Forum of the Agricultural Sector entitled “The Role of Youth in Strengthening State Independence” was held on May 25 of this year at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was attended by Bahromjon Ahmadzoda, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Suraj Sainak Chorshanbezoda, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as active young professionals from the central office and subordinate institutions of the Ministry.
Before the official opening, guests visited an exhibition showcasing the achievements, scientific works, and creative projects of young specialists in the agricultural sector and highly appreciated their contributions.
In his speech, Deputy Minister Bahromjon Ahmadzoda noted that the state youth policy implemented by the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, has created a solid foundation for providing favorable conditions for the development of knowledge, professional skills, and the worldview of young people. It was emphasized that youth today represent a constructive force and a key driving factor in the development of society, particularly in the agricultural sector.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports, Suraj Sainak Chorshanbezoda, also highlighted that the contribution of young people to the implementation of the country's strategic goals, as well as to the development of science, technology, and production, continues to grow each year, while support for youth remains one of the priority directions of state policy.
It is a matter of great pride that Tohirzoda Abduqosim Abdukarim, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences and Head of the Laboratory for Diagnosis of Viral Diseases of Poultry at the State Institution “Institute of Biosafety Problems and Biotechnology” of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences, actively participated in this important national event as a young scientist and delivered an informative scientific presentation.
