Today, on the initiative of the Executive Body of State Power of the city of Dushanbe, a ceremony was held to award the winners of the city stage of the “Science – the Light of Knowledge” contest.
In this event, Tohirzoda Abduqosim Abdukarim, an employee of the Institute of Biological Safety and Biotechnology Issues of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan, and Head of the Laboratory for Diagnosis of Viral Diseases in Poultry, demonstrated exceptional intellectual capability in the nomination “Invention and Innovation”, securing first place and earning a spot in the Republican (national) stage of the competition.
The award ceremony, held under the slogan "Forward, Tajikistan!", was attended by members of the Interagency Commission on the Commercialization of Scientific Results and the Implementation of Science in Production.
In addition, to encourage inventiveness and innovation, representatives of the private sector presented commemorative gifts to each prize-winner.
The winners of the competition expressed confidence that in the near future, the discoveries and inventions of the youth of the independence era in various fields of science and technology will gain international recognition and contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
