December 12, 2024, Islamabad (Pakistan). - Within the framework of the 7th meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Daler Juma, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, met with Abdul Alim Khan, Federal Minister of Privatization, Investment and Communications Council of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. During the conversation, the parties discussed a range of bilateral cooperation and expressed interest in expanding trade, economic and investment relations. In addition, the interlocutors exchanged views on promising areas of cooperation, such as the construction of transport routes through the Wakhan overpass, power transmission lines, and an increase in direct flights between Dushanbe and Islamabad, which will benefit both countries.
