October 8, 2024, Dushanbe. The Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, Daler Juma, received Ms. Anjali Kaur, Deputy Assistant to the Head of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), at the ministerial building. During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United States of America, including USAID, in the field of energy and water resources. Noting the huge water and energy resources of Tajikistan, including “green” energy, the Minister noted that more than 60 percent of the water resources of Central Asia are formed in Tajikistan. At the same time, mutually beneficial cooperation has been established between them.
