Institute of Crop Science of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan

For the first time in the republic, in 1932 , the State Breeding and Seed Production Station of Tajikistan was established. In 1956 , based on this institution, the Scientific Research Institute of Crop Production under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Tajik SSR was organized. In 1987 , the institution was transformed into the Scientific-Production Association “Ziroatkor” , which operated until 2008 . According to the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated May 2, 2008, No. 215 , the institution was included in the list of scientific-research institutes of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan and received the name Institute of Crop Production . In accordance with the Government Decrees dated July 8, 2017, No. 342, and August 31, 2020, No. 487 , the name of the institution was finalized and officially confirmed.
