During the working visit of the Director of the Agency for State Material Reserves under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Nurmuhammad Ahmadzoda, held from 16 to 18 April 2026 in the cities of Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan) and Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan), negotiations were conducted with the management of JSC “Prodcorporation” of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC “Uztrade” of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Within the framework of the negotiations, issues related to the import of food wheat into the Republic of Tajikistan were discussed, aimed at replenishing state material reserves, ensuring food security, and maintaining a stable price level in the domestic market.
Following the meetings, the parties signed the relevant agreements.
