GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVE OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN VISITS SHAHRISTON DISTRICT TO INSPECT THE CONSTRUCTION OF JUBILEE FACILITIES
On May 31, 2026, the representative of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Head of the Antimonopoly Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rajabzoda Haydarali Rajabali, traveled to the Shahriston District of the Sughd Region to inspect the progress of construction works on jubilee facilities being built in honor of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the visit, the Government representative reviewed the ongoing construction works, the quality of infrastructure development, the efficient use of funds, and compliance with architectural and urban planning standards across a number of key social, cultural, and service facilities.It was emphasized that in light of the constructive policies of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and in anticipation of the 35th anniversary of State Independence, the construction and renovation of dozens of multi-purpose facilities are underway in the Shahriston District, with a large portion of them already commissioned.
The representative of the Government of Tajikistan, along with the Chairman of the district, visited the under-construction facilities—including educational institutions, sports complexes, service centers, roads, bridges, and other social infrastructure—and held discussions with contractors and construction officials.
As part of the working visit, they also inspected the launch of road-paving and asphalt-laying works in the Khurramdara area.
