On December 9, Chairman of the Sughd region Rajabboy Ahmadzoda got acquainted with the activities of the modern greenhouse of MMK Agro LLC and gave specific instructions to responsible persons to provide citizens with high-quality and inexpensive products.

Currently, the greenhouse has established the cultivation and production of tomatoes by hydroponic and organic methods, and to obtain the desired harvest, nutrients are supplied to the plant by drip irrigation. The temperature of the hydroponic greenhouse is maintained by the steam system and automatically at any time of the year, two large boilers are also installed to perform these actions.
The organic part, that is, the cultivation of seeds in the usual way, makes up one third of the greenhouse. Here, too, all operations for growing and caring for the plant are carried out automatically, the temperature is maintained by the radiator method.
During the visit, the Chairman of the region gave instructions to responsible persons to ensure the smooth operation of all greenhouses in the region and increase the number of such greenhouses.
It was noted that the contribution of the specialists of this greenhouse to providing the domestic market with high-quality domestic products is very significant, tomatoes are collected and delivered to customers in stages.
According to experts, up to 3-4 kilograms of tomatoes are harvested from each plant, and 150 to 180 tons of tomatoes are produced per hectare of the greenhouse.
Recall that in the Sughd region there are more than 500 greenhouses in which tomatoes, eggplants, herbs, peppers, lemons and seasonal flowers are grown.
