The deputies, recalling the speech of the leader of the nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, noted that the development of industry in the region was ensured, and 106 new enterprises and workshops were launched in 7 months of 2024. During the period of independence, the agrarians of Sughd region made a significant contribution to providing the country's consumer market with domestically produced products, that is, to protect food security, and in 2023 the volume of agricultural products reached 19 billion somoni, which is 7.3 times more than in 1991. During the period of independence, as part of the implementation of more than 75 state investment projects in Sughd region, more than 13 billion somoni were disbursed and the image of cities, districts, towns and villages was changed.
