Cotton harvesting in the agricultural farms of Sughd region continues in an organized manner, as of October 8, 35,429 tons of cotton were produced, the plan was fulfilled by 26.3%. According to the Main Department of Agriculture of Sughd region, to date, more than 1,600 cotton farms have reported on the implementation of the cotton production plan. Cotton growers of the region intend this year, using the available opportunities, to get a good harvest and produce 134 thousand 530 tons of cotton. According to operational data, more than 50 thousand shareholders and assistants take part in cotton harvesting every day, who collect about 3.5 thousand tons of cotton, which is an average of 50 kilograms per collector.
