The first group of conscripts for service in the National Army took place on the National Flag Square of Penjikent, NIAT Khovar reports with reference to the executive body of the state authority of the city of Penjikent. More than two hundred recruits have been trained at the school of the organization "Defense Assistance". The head of the city, Abdukholik Kholikzoda, congratulated the youth on the start of the conscription campaign. It was noted that in recent years hundreds of young residents of Penjikent have voluntarily, wholeheartedly and with great patriotic pride come to the military commissariat of the city, expressing their willingness to serve the Motherland, and are among such patriotic volunteers. The recruits made speeches and expressed their willingness and desire to serve faithfully and protect the borders of the country. The parents wished that they would be given a decent service. Then, letters of thanks and gifts from local executive bodies of the city government were presented to the group responsible for the draft commission, the chairmen of rural jamoats for their valuable contribution to the organization of the spring draft of youth, and a group of recruits who graduated from the school of the organization "Assistance to Defense" were awarded a driver's license.
