Today, at the Main Department of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Sogd region, a discussion was held on the results of the activities of the regional statistical bodies in 2024. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Statistics Agency, Jamshid Nurmukhammadzoda, the leadership and staff of the Main Department, as well as the heads of the statistical bodies of cities and districts of the Sogd region.
At the meeting, Khokimbek Nakhatzoda presented a report on the results of the Main Department's work and the outcomes of the socio-economic development of the region.
During the meeting, the Director of the Statistics Agency held a specialized discussion with the heads of departments of the Main Department and the statistical bodies of cities and districts, during which specific instructions and tasks were given to address existing shortcomings.
Furthermore, Jamshid Nurmukhammadzoda expressed his views on the Message of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, presented to the Majlisi Oli on December 28, 2024, emphasizing that the implementation of the instructions outlined in the Message is the primary task of every citizen of the country, and especially of civil servants.
The Director of the Statistics Agency gave a positive evaluation of the work of the staff of the Main Department and the results of the socio-economic development of the region in the past year, and provided strict instructions and tasks to the responsible individuals regarding the further improvement of the level and quality of data, their reliability, the collection and processing of data in a high-quality and timely manner, as well as making a significant contribution to the development of national statistics.
