On October 10-17, in honor of World Statistics Day, the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted a volleyball sports tournament between employees of the Agency's central office, the state institution "General Computing Center" and the central office of the Agency for Statistics in Dushanbe.The opening ceremony of the sports competition was attended by the First Deputy Director of the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Aso Nurullo Aswat, who added that it was a great honor for him, In our beloved and independent country, the sphere of physical culture and sports is at the center of attention of the Founder of Peace and National unity – The Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, on this basis, a number of normative legal acts have been developed and adopted in the country to promote a healthy lifestyle, popularize sports, build sports facilities, hold national and international competitions and train professional athletes.The main purpose of this sports competition is, first of all, to promote sports and a healthy lifestyle, strengthen friendly ties between staff and local statistical authorities, as well as improve the professional skills of athletes.
