On June 16, the Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Jamshed Nurmuhammadzoda, participated in the 73rd Session of the Conference of European Statisticians of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
During the session, Mr. Nurmuhammadzoda delivered a statement outlining the achievements and initiatives of Tajikistan in the development of national statistics, as well as the country’s future plans in this field.
He also noted that a global assessment of the national statistical system had been conducted by international experts. The results and recommendations of this assessment are regarded as useful for the development of strategic plans for the further advancement of national statistics.
