On March 22, 2025, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavkizoda Zavki Amin participated in the celebrations of International Nowruz, which took place in the Panj district.
The Minister of Economic Development and Trade congratulated the residents of the district on the Nowruz holiday, which symbolizes the renewal of nature and humanity. He noted that Nowruz is not only a cultural event but also a symbol of the unity of peoples, trust, and cooperation among various societies around the world.
In his speech, Zavkizoda Z.A. emphasized that in the modern world, Nowruz plays an important role in the revival of cultural and national values of the Tajik people and other peoples of Central Asia. He also added that thanks to the far-sighted policy and initiatives of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Nowruz has today become an international holiday and is recognized at the global level.
The celebrations were also attended by representatives of local authorities, members of the Coordination Council for Development, cultural figures, and other representatives of civil society from the Panj district, who joyfully and lovingly celebrated the holiday together.
