On March 20, 2025, a solemn meeting dedicated to International Nowruz was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, attended by the ministry's leadership and employees of the central office.
At the beginning, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavkizoda Zavki Amin congratulated the employees on the arrival of the international Nowruz holiday and reminded them of the words of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the esteemed Emomali Rahmon: "Nowruz is one of the greatest and most beloved holidays of the Tajiks, which has long been a valuable heritage of our brave ancestors and has more than 6,000 years of history and culture."
It was also noted that, thanks to the efforts and work of the great Leader of the Nation, the Nowruz holiday has become international. This far-sighted and wise initiative of the Leader of the Nation, in an era of cultural clashes, played an important role in strengthening national identity and recognizing the Tajik people on the international stage as a highly cultured nation.
Nowruz is celebrated annually at the ministry, honoring the traditions of our ancestors and with special magnificence.
