On September 17, 2026, in the city of Dushanbe, under the leadership of the Minister of economic development and trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, and with the participation of heads and representatives of ministries and agencies responsible for foreign economic and trade activities of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the 25th meeting of the ministers responsible for foreign economic and trade activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held.
At the meeting, the agreements reached by the heads of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization were first followed up on, and issues of developing economic cooperation, increasing mutual trade, strengthening energy security, developing transport and logistics infrastructure, attracting investment, establishing joint enterprises, and developing value-added production were considered by the parties.
At the end of the event, the Protocol and the Joint Statement of the 25th meeting of the ministers responsible for foreign economic and trade activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization were signed.
