On September 3, 2026, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of economic development and trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, A. N. Nuriddinzoda, and the delegation of "LS Group" of the Republic of Korea.
During the talks, the parties discussed issues related to the expansion of investment and industrial cooperation, including in the areas of extraction and deep processing of strategic minerals, modernization of energy infrastructure, localization of production of cable and wire products and electrical equipment in the country's free economic zones.
Nuriddinzoda A. N. noted that thanks to the wise and far-sighted policy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the esteemed Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Republic of Korea, trade, economic and investment relations between the two countries are steadily developing.
At the same time, Nuriddinzoda A. N. presented the country's investment advantages and the tax and customs privileges offered, particularly within the free economic zones.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further expansion of trade and economic cooperation, transition to a model of long-term industrial partnership, and establishment of joint ventures.
