Signing of New Cooperation Documents Between Tajikistan and Iran

As a result of high-level meetings and negotiations between Tajikistan and Iran, attended by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Masoud Pezeshkian, 23 new cooperation documents were signed.

The Joint Declaration of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran was signed by the two heads of state, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon and His Excellency Masoud Pezeshkian.

Additionally, the following documents were signed:

1. Program of Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
2. Action Plan for cooperation between the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan and the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran to develop cargo transit via the Port of Chabahar.
3. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Employment of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Iran for cooperation in traditional and modern crafts.
4. Action Plan to implement the MoU between the Government of Tajikistan and the Government of Iran in the field of industry and new technologies for 2025–2027.
5. MoU between the National University of Tajikistan and the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Iran.
6. MoU between Tajik Agrarian University named after Shirinsho Shotemur and the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Iran.
7. Joint Cooperation Program under the MoU between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan and the Welfare Organization of Iran in social protection and vulnerable groups.
8. MoU between Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Iran.
9. MoU between the Republican Blood Science Center of Tajikistan and the Blood Transfusion Organization of Iran.
10. MoU on animal health and veterinary issues between the Food Security Committee of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Agriculture of Iran.
11. MoU between the Committee on Women and Family Affairs of Tajikistan and the Women and Family Affairs Department of Iran for cooperation in women and family-related matters.
12. MoU between the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of Tajikistan and the General Inspection Organization of Iran for cooperation in combating corruption.
13. MoU on cooperation between the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technology of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Iran.
14. MoU on cooperation between the Agency on Statistics of Tajikistan and the Statistical Center of Iran.
15. MoU between the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification, and Trade Inspection of Tajikistan and the National Standard Organization of Iran in standardization and metrology.
16. MoU on cooperation in IT and communication technologies between the Communication Service of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications of Iran.
17. Training MoU between the Customs Service of Tajikistan and the Customs Administration of Iran.
18. MoU between the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Iran.
19. MoU between the Main Archives Department of Tajikistan and the National Library and Archives of Iran.
20. MoU on cooperation between the Center for Strategic Research under the President of Tajikistan and the Research Center of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran.
21. MoU on cooperation between the State Institution Center for Islamic Studies under the President of Tajikistan and the Research Center of the World Assembly for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought of Iran.
22. MoU on cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and the International Exhibitions Company of Iran in the field of exhibitions.

These agreements mark a significant step forward in strengthening and expanding bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Iran across various fields.
