On August 24, 2026, in order to implement the instructions and assignments of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, aimed at reducing the impact of potential risks on the national economy, the Ministry of economic development and trade hosted a regular meeting of the interdepartmental Staff for coordination of macroeconomic policy implementation and prevention of the impact of potential risks on the national economy, chaired by the Minister of economic development and trade, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali. The meeting was held on the topic: “Strengthening measures to reduce the impact of changes in energy prices on world markets on the national economy”.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of economic development and trade noted that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is continuously taking practical measures to ensure the domestic market with petroleum products, regulate their prices, and reduce the impact of changes in energy prices on world markets on the national economy.
During the meeting, the leadership of ministries and agencies expressed useful opinions and proposals regarding the measures taken to prevent the consequences of changes in petroleum product prices in their respective sectors.
At the end of the meeting, based on the results of the discussion of the aforementioned issue, the Staff adopted relevant decisions.
