On 13 August 2026, a meeting was held between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, and the Senior Trade Finance Manager for Turkey and the CIS countries of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), Anvar Nigmatov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation, the financing of new projects in priority areas, as well as the draft Framework Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and ITFC for the period 2026–2029.
