On August 11, 2026, at the building of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Vosidiyon Farhod Sadullo, awareness-raising events were held regarding the electronic fare payment and control system in public passenger automobile transport of the city of Dushanbe. These events were organized in implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Expansion of Non-Cash Payments" and the resolution of the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe dated July 31, 2017, on organizing informational and explanatory work and ensuring the availability of transport cards among employees of ministries and agencies of the country, specifically for the staff of the central apparatus of the ministry.
At the beginning of the meeting, Vosidiyon F.S. noted that the purpose of introducing the electronic fare payment system is to ensure transparency in the public transport sector of the capital, transition to a digital economy, improve the level and quality of transport services, and strengthen non-cash settlements.
During the continuation of the meeting, the head of the "City Card" project, Ziyovaddinov Sadriddin, presented on the topic "Electronic Fare Payment and Control System in Public Passenger Automobile Transport of the City of Dushanbe" and provided information on the conduct of explanatory activities aimed at strengthening electronic fare payment in public transport of the capital.
At the conclusion of the official meeting, Vosidiyon F.S. expressed gratitude to the staff of the central apparatus of the ministry for their contribution to raising the level of knowledge of the employees and called on them to collectively make a worthy contribution to strengthening electronic fare payment in public transport of the capital.
