On 2 July 2026, a training seminar aimed at enhancing the digital skills of the staff of the Central Office of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Ministry's premises. The event was organized pursuant to the instruction of the Head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and chaired by Vosidiyon Farhod Sadullo, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, with the participation of representatives of the relevant ministries and agencies.
Opening the seminar, Deputy Minister Vosidiyon Farhod Sadullo emphasized the importance, advantages, and effectiveness of e-government, highlighting in particular the expanded use of public services delivered in real time. He noted that in the 21st century digitalization has become one of the key drivers of economic growth, while the comprehensive digital transformation of economic and social sectors creates additional opportunities for sustainable national development.
During the seminar, Yazdonzoda Isfandiyor Hamroqul, First Deputy Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, stated that, in accordance with the Presidential Order of the Republic of Tajikistan No. AP-815 dated 14 June 2025, the period of 2025–2030 has been declared the "Years of Digital Economy and Innovation Development." Within the framework of the approved Action Plan, a series of training seminars has been scheduled to enhance the digital competencies of civil servants and citizens.
Furthermore, representatives of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies, the National Bank of Tajikistan, and the Communications Service of the Republic of Tajikistan delivered presentations to the Ministry's staff on the use of the Unified Electronic Document Management System, the Unified Portal of Public Services, as well as the promotion of cashless payment systems.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Deputy Minister Vosidiyon Farhod Sadullo expressed his appreciation to the representatives of the participating ministries and agencies for their valuable contribution to strengthening the digital literacy and professional digital competencies of the staff of the Central Office of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.
