On 24 June 2026, as part of a working visit to Vienna, Republic of Austria, a meeting was held between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, Daler Juma, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Austria, Manuchehr Jobir, and the Chief Executive Officer of Voith Hydro Austria.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to cooperation in the energy sector and explored prospects for further strengthening bilateral collaboration.
As part of the programme, the Tajik delegation also visited the company’s manufacturing facilities, where turbines and equipment for hydropower plant construction are produced.
It was noted that Voith Hydro Austria is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of equipment and technologies for hydropower development and cooperates with more than 60 countries worldwide.
