On 16 June 2026, in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kholiqzoda Hokim Hikmatullo, and the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan / Governor for the Republic of Tajikistan at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, held a meeting with the President of the Islamic Development Bank Group, Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the Country Engagement Framework for 2023–2026, the advancement of priority infrastructure projects, and issues related to strengthening regional connectivity.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, promoting sustainable development, and ensuring the effective implementation of joint projects.
