On 16 June 2026, in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, on the sidelines of the Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan, headed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, held a meeting with the Acting Director General of the Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI), Sami Ibrahim Al-Suwailem.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Development Bank Institute.
