On June 12, 2026, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Vosidiyon Farhod Sadullo, and First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Yusufzoda Farrukh Yusuf, paid a working visit to the Kulob Free Economic Zone. The purpose of the visit was to review the activities of resident enterprises, assess infrastructure development, examine the conditions created for investors, monitor the progress of construction works at newly established enterprises, and evaluate ongoing development and beautification projects dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the visit, it was reported that construction activities and the establishment of new manufacturing enterprises are currently underway within the territory of the Free Economic Zone. A number of facilities are scheduled to be commissioned before the celebration of the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade provided relevant officials with practical recommendations aimed at the further development of the Zone’s activities and the timely implementation of planned projects and initiatives.
