On 26 May 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, and Dragan Aleksoski, Deputy Director of the Regional Office of the International Organization for Migration in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the development of human capital, the regulation of migration processes, and the increase of employment levels among the population.
During the discussion, Abdurahmonzoda A. S. noted that in the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030, as well as in the Medium-Term Development Programme of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026–2030, issues of labour market development, enhancement of workforce competitiveness, and ensuring productive employment are defined as key priorities of state policy.
