On May 26, 2026, within the framework of the Fourth Dushanbe Conference on the implementation of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018–2028”, a meeting was held between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, and a delegation of representatives of the Kingdom of Spain, including Daniel Hernández, Director of “ROCA” company, Carlos Garring, Director of the “We are Water” Foundation, and Luis Francisco Martínez, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of Tajikistan with residence in Astana.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening bilateral cooperation and establishing joint ventures in the free economic zones of Tajikistan.
