On May 13, 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade between Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nasriddinzoda Rukhshona Hikmatullo and a delegation of the World Bank to discuss issues related to strengthening cross-border trade and economic cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation, developing transport and logistics infrastructure, and increasing production and export capacities in border regions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening regional cooperation and expressed their readiness to continue mutually beneficial partnership.
