On May 5, 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade between Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nasriddinzoda Rukhshona Hikmatullo and a delegation of representatives of the German Development Bank led by KfW Senior Portfolio Manager Matthias Grüninger.
At the beginning of the meeting, Nasriddinzoda R. H. welcomed the bank's delegation and noted that thanks to the wise policies of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the financial and economic structures of Germany is constantly developing.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that KfW has proven itself a reliable partner in implementing important national projects, including the project "Strengthening Rural Development through Adaptation of Land Use to Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction," which covers important areas of environmental protection, infrastructure, and regional development.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation.
